Belimo's corporate social responsibility program in the United States supports a wide range of activities. These activities demonstrate how incorporating community stakeholders into our business network not only supports our corporate goals but also encourages nonprofit organizations to promote social change in a positive and sustainable way.

Belimo supports initiatives, including:

Community involvement – committees made up of Belimo employees discuss and make decisions about charitable giving and volunteerism.

Bronze Sponsor of Danbury, JDRF Pumpkin Painting held at the Halas Farm Market.

The event has raised thousands of dollars for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation since farm owners Michael and Laura Halas started it in 2005. Belimo has actively participated every year as a bronze sponsor as well their employees are active volunteers.

American Heart Association

American Heart Associate “Go Red For Women”, Belimo employee donate and wear red and Belimo matches all funds raised. Funds raised this time of year goes to help women by offering educational programs, increase women's understanding about their risk for heart disease and support research to discover scientific knowledge about heart health.

Sandy Hook School Support Fund

Belimo donated $20,000 to support the Sandy Hook School Support Fund. The Sandy Hook School Support Fund (SHSSF) was created by United Way of Western Connecticut and the Newtown Savings Bank. The fund was established to receive undesignated financial donations, with the intent that the money raised would support families impacted by the tragedy, first responders, teachers, and the Newtown community in both the short and long-term. No fees or expenses have been taken for the administration of the SHSSF.

United Way United Way Day of Action

Belimo financially supports the United Way's "Day of Action" and its employees volunteers to help the families and communities in need.

Gift Donation to the Salvation Army

Belimo’s gift donation to the Salvation Army’s “Angel Tree Program” is an initiative to make sure no one is left out during the holidays.

Greater Danbury Food Bank

Donations from Belimo and its employees are made annually to the Greater Danbury Food Bank. It is part of Belimo’s effort to provide food to the less fortunate in the Danbury area.

Annual "Back-to-School" Project

A major initiative of the Western Connecticut Business Volunteer Council (BVC) and The Volunteer Center of the United Way of Western Connecticut, Belimo and its employees donate school supplies every year. This project focuses on children from the Pembroke School. 

United Way, “King of the Hill”

Belimo has sponsored the United Way’s “King of the Hill” race for over 7 years, as well as having its employees volunteer to take part in the race itself.

Red Cross

Belimo holds annual Red Cross blood drives.

Roses for Autism program

Belimo donates to Roses for Autism, which provides inclusive employment opportunities for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Roses for Autism program provides training for individuals with Autism and prepares them to be successful in the workforce.

Danbury Animal Welfare Society

Belimo’s donations to the Danbury Animal Welfare Society promote responsible pet guardianship, the humane treatment of animals, and working towards ending animal overpopulation through education and a variety of programs.

ASHRAE HVAC Research and Development

Belimo donates to ASHRAE for it to continue its research on developing more energy efficient building technologies.

Ability Beyond Disability

Belimo is an active supporter of Ability Beyond Disability, a non-profit organization helping disabled individuals gain greater independence through training and job placement. The Belimo program is extremely successful, and Belimo is proud of the fact that Ability Beyond Disability has placed more than 40 individuals in jobs at its Danbury facility.
